Access to Poros island


From Airport ( Eleftherios Venizelos ) to Piraeus port :

There are three ways to get from the Athens International airport (El.Venizelos) to the port of Piraeus, and they are the following:

1. By metro.
There is a terminal right in front of the airport. You take line 3 from the airport. When reaching ‘Syntagma Station’ you change from line 3 to line 2 with direction to ‘Aghios Antonios’ . After 2 Stops you have reached ‘Omonoia station’, where you change from line 2 to line 1 with direction to Pireaus. The station is right across the port. It is about 40-60 minutes ride and the ticket costs 6 euros.
2. By public bus.
There is a bus stop outside the airport between the exits 4 and 5. The bus that goes straight from the airport to the port of Piraeus is the express bus E96. It is about 60-90 minutes ride and the ticket costs 2.90 euros. The buses leave every 20 minutes. You can find the bus schedules here: E96 Athens International Airport – Piraeus Port
3. By taxi.
All taxis are next to exit 3 at the level of the arrivals. Transportation to the port will cost you about 25-40 Euros. It is about 30 minutes ride

From Piraeus port to Poros port :

1. By Ferry Boat:
From the port of Piraeus there are daily depertures of Ferry Boats for Poros. Ferry Boats also accepts cars. The trip lasts 2 hours 15′ minutes.

2.By Flying Dolphin:
From the port of Piraeus there are daily depertures of Flying Dolphins for Poros. The trip lasts for about an hour.

1.6 kilometer ( approximately 15 minutes )
